D. Austin Sniffen Medal of Honor
Each year the Ninth District Dental Association selects one of its members as the recipient of the D. Austin Sniffen Medal of Honor. This award honors a member who has given many years of superb and distinguished service to the Ninth District Dental Association and its membership and signifies leadership of the highest kind.
On September 10, 2008, the D. Austin Sniffen Medal of Honor was bestowed on Dr. William Kirtland, Past President of the Ninth District Dental Association and a member of the Dutchess County Dental Society’s Executive Board.
The Dutchess County Dental Society congratulates our long time friend and colleague and enthusiastically agrees that this recognition is deeply deserved.
