On September.11, 2010, our member Dr. Armen Manasar was one of three Honorees at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center’s 21st Annual Diamond Gala.
In addition to a special gift from the Medical Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center Foundation, Dr. Manasar received Citations from members of the New York State Senate and Assembly.
Honorees are chosen by the Medical Center through an internal selection process by medical peers and Administration Officers, Trustees and Nurse Supervisors.
Dr. Manasar has been a member of the Medical and Dental Staff of the Medical Center for
36 years and has been Director of Dentistry since 1992.
Dr. Manasar told our Executive Board that he is deeply appreciative and proud to have been
recognized by the Dutchess County Dental Society in the Gala Journal and by the presence
of colleagues. Dr. Manasar said, “I feel I was there as an
ambassador for all of us who have contributed time and effort to help others in need at the
Medical Center.”

Seven of our members were honored at the June 20, 2010 General Membership Meeting in recognition of their serving 20 consecutive years on the Society’s Executive Board.
Dr. Rosemarie Mason was recognized at the June 20, 2010 General Membership Meeting for her outstanding service as President.
