Dental Assistant Training

Dutchess Community College provides the only local educational opportunity approved by the NYS Education Department to meet the educational requirement leading to Licensure of dental assistants as Licensed Certified Dental Assistants in New York State. Licensed Certified Assistants are permitted an expanded range of duties beyond that of non-licensed assistants. The DCDS provides scholarship help to one or more students of the program in each class, as chosen by the College.
